We have a direct contract with a Moroccan atelier and have them custom-make these for our Japanese customers, so the quality is far superior to those purchased at souvenir shops. Babouches use genuine leather (sheepskin) and are tanned using traditional methods. This babouche is made to minimize odor as much as possible and is part of the odorless series, but perceptions vary, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to smells. However, the unique leather smell will diminish with use, so please rest assured. The color may appear different from the actual product depending on the monitor you are viewing.
