This is a hand-woven tsumugi (Yukara-ori) that was made at the Yukara-ori Craft Museum in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, which is now closed. Each piece is made from hand-spun yarn, dyed, and woven on a hand loom. The texture is incredibly soft. The theme is "skunk cabbage," a popular flower in Hokkaido. It has never been used. It has been stored in a dark place at home. Length 12cm, width 23cm, depth approximately 3cm. It's a clutch bag that goes well with both Japanese and Western clothing! The sachet contains lavender fragrance, but I haven't been able to confirm the scent as it is unopened. Please be aware of that. It's a very stylish bag. Thank you.
