A tea bowl with swirling gold and silver designs, made by the previous generation's Makuzu Kōzan (Eiyo Kōsai). It comes with a storage box inscribed by the current Makuzu Kōzan. The swirling designs in gold and silver glaze are painted on a white Makuzu-yaki tea bowl. It appears to have been well-used, as some of the gold on the inner swirl design has worn off. While it is not a pristine, new item, it is a tea bowl made and used during the Showa era. I hope you can appreciate the passage of time. Dimensions: 13cm diameter x 6cm height.
