This Christmas box train features Santa Claus rotating with music, and the inside of the box is beautifully illuminated. If you leave the box lid open, the music box will play in response to clapping or loud noises. The advantage is that you don't need to wind it up to play the music. The disadvantage is that the music box rotates every time a loud sound is made, which might be a bit startling. Leaving the lid open and providing stimulation will play 8 Christmas melodies. Closing the lid resets it, and the first song will repeat. Purchased new during Christmas 2017, it has been displayed every Christmas since. There are minor scratches on the outside of the box, but overall, it is in good condition for its age. The original box is stained. Please consider this a used item.
