Thank you for viewing from among many items. This is a custom-made michiyuki coat with sashiko embroidery on silk ai-tsumugi (indigo-dyed tsumugi). It's a very lovely coat. It belonged to the mother of a friend who loves kimono. I received it from her during a decluttering process, as she had items that were more flamboyant. The indigo-dyed tsumugi with the diagonal blue tsumugi seam is very stylish. The sashiko lines add an accent, making it a carefully crafted piece. It has covered buttons and one pocket on the right chest. The flaws are a small spot stain on the front and a spot stain from a hook on the lining. *Please refer to photos 3 and 8.
