This is a komon (small patterned kimono) with a shibori (tie-dye) pattern, suitable for the fall and winter seasons. I acquired this item new and unused to wear to tea ceremonies. The tacking threads (the ones on the right sleeve remain) have been removed, but it has only been tried on and is otherwise unworn. It features a subtle shibori pattern in understated colors on a slightly lustrous, bluish-gray silver background. The fabric is soft, and I believe it will be comfortable to wear. I haven't had many opportunities to wear it, so I hope it will be useful to someone.
