This is an unsewn fukuro obi (formal obi). It has a white base with a silver woven pattern. It's a very elegant, mature design because it doesn't use many colors. The silver threads shimmer beautifully depending on the angle. It will create a beautiful silhouette. It can be worn with plain kimonos, komon (casual patterned kimonos), and even slightly formal tsukesage kimonos. It's also suitable for furisode (long-sleeved kimono for unmarried women).
