This is a Gosu (cobalt blue) twisted-face teabowl. It has the mark "Teru" (照), and I believe it's the work of a Mingei (folk art) artist, but I'm unsure of the specific artist. It also feels like it could be Gosu ware from the Kawai school... It can be used as a rice bowl or a small donburi (bowl of rice with toppings). Condition: It's in beautiful condition, with no cracks or chips. Please check the photos for details. Please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection or do not understand handmade items.
