This is a glass bead, or "tonbodama," made with two colors, purple and light blue, and containing air bubbles. It looks great just as it is, but you can also arrange it into a necklace, choker, bracelet, hair ornament such as a hairpin or hair tie, or an obi decoration for a yukata or kimono. There may be slight variations in size and shape. Please use the images as a general guide. I have various tonbodama for sale. There are many colors, patterns, and shapes, so please enjoy choosing your favorite tonbodama like a treasure hunt. The color changes depending on the light, so the appearance will differ under fluorescent light and sunlight. The images were taken in natural daylight indoors. Each piece is made by melting glass with a burner, so no two are exactly alike. All works are one-of-a-kind. Therefore, I do not accept custom orders.
