Deadstock, Complete Condition 1960s East Germany "NVA" Blumentarn Camo Sniper Smock Parker I received this from a German friend. This smock was adopted for a short period from 1956 to 1967. It's a very modern piece, with a short length and a large hood, featuring a vibrant camouflage pattern that means "Blumentarn" or "floral camouflage" in German. The front has a double-layered construction with flaps. Elbow patches enhance durability. There are open vents under the arms for breathability. Each arm has a pocket, likely used for storing ammunition. The large hood has a drawcord. The hem has an adjuster belt, allowing you to change the silhouette depending on the situation. Due to its scarcity and high design quality, this is a hidden gem that is very popular among core militaria fans. This series has an anti-gas coating, and this one still has it. It will come off if washed, but I've left it as is, so you can enjoy it as you like.
