I enjoy collecting tableware, and I purchased these unused from a recycle shop several years ago and have kept them in storage without using them. I have kept them in the same condition as when they were sold, so I haven't been able to check for scratches, but from what I can see through the plastic, they appear to be in new condition. Also, the box they came in has no lid and is unusable, so I don't recommend it for those who are considering using the box.
