Pyroelectric Infrared Sensor The sensor's detection range is approximately ±40-50° (about 100° total) relative to the sensor axis, with a maximum detection distance of within 5m. It reacts to changes in infrared rays emitted by the human body, etc., within this range. It will not react if a person is standing still for a while and there is no change. Also, it cannot detect through glass.
