This is a HERCULES guitar stand. As the final stop in my search for stands, I own several of the same model, but I'm selling this one because I've switched some to wall-mounted holders. I am the original owner. This stand holds the guitar primarily by the neck (it locks the neck in place with the guitar's weight, which is convenient as it releases when you lift the guitar). The lower body is supported stably by the sponge padding on the stand. The neck height can be easily adjusted with the grip. It offers excellent stability and ease of access. It does take up some space (as all floor stands do, which is unpopular when cleaning...), and it's not ideal for carrying around (it can be disassembled to be compact, but I've never carried it). I've used it with reasonable care, so there's a sense of use, but there are no issues with its functionality. However, please refrain from purchasing if you are very particular about the condition.
