Retro and fancy towel hanger. I bought this towel rack about 35 years ago at a souvenir shop in Kyoto. I used it for a while back then, but it's been stored away ever since. There is some staining on the string and some dullness on the bells. The wooden parts have generally thin paint. It has been quite a long time, so please understand this before purchasing.
