I purchased this from a specialty belly dance shop. The design around the waist makes it look like you're wearing a scarf, which gives a slimming effect to the hips. The hem has slits, and for me, at 156cm tall, it was the perfect length when I stood on my tiptoes. When practicing dances with flat feet, I would tie up the hem.
