We will be selling various handmade stuffed animal creations by the late Sachiko Tanaka, a Kyoto artist. All items are commissioned by the artist's family. These are from the highly-regarded "Small Vegetable Garden" series, and you'll be amazed by their delicate and intricate craftsmanship. These works were exhibited in solo exhibitions for a while and were then carefully preserved by her family. These items are about 30 years old, so they are not brand new as you would buy in a store. However, they have a warm, comforting feel. You will find them to be wonderful, soulful works that you can display and enjoy without ever getting tired of them. The artist selected the fabrics one by one, dyed them by hand, and drew intricate lines, resulting in these works after painstaking effort. As she was from Kyoto, the creations include vegetables unique to Kyoto. They may be a bit expensive, but we are confident that they are high-quality items that you will not regret purchasing. The items will be shipped individually, without baskets. Realistic, large-sized cabbage, Chinese cabbage, burdock root, taro, shishito peppers, lotus root, daikon radish, cucumber, eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, etc. Please use an 8cm lighter or a measuring tape as a size reference.
