Suga Shrine is a shrine located in Suga, Daito-cho, Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture. It is said that the palace built by Susanoo-no-Mikoto after he defeated the Orochi (eight-headed serpent) became the shrine, and it claims to be the first shrine in Japan. This offering is a set of two items: an amulet (jade green) and a shrine pamphlet. The magatama (comma-shaped bead) is one of the "Three Sacred Treasures" and has been said since ancient times to eliminate misfortune and bring good luck. Prayers are offered for the good fortune of those who possess it.
