Second printing in 2006 (first printing in 2005). The cover shows signs of aging, but the main body is in good condition. This is Yamazaki's 1st photo book, taken when she was 19 years old. She entered the entertainment industry after winning the Miss Magazine award the previous year. This marked the beginning of a 20-year career in gravure photography. It's a perfect 1st photo book. It feels natural, as if she's effortlessly showing off her best features, and the shots are clearly commercial. When we talk about "raw talent" in cases like this, we often focus on the body and looks, but in Yamazaki's case, I feel she has a personality that's suited to being the center of attention. Thinking about other subjects, I can't recall feeling this kind of temperament in more than a handful of them. She retired from gravure photography with the release of her last photobook last year. It's just a possibility at this stage, since she just retired, but she might become a "legend" later on. It's like entering the hall of fame, and I think she's fully qualified.
