This is an old rice chest. It's no longer used and has been stored in a barn for many years, so there are stains that can't be removed. There are also scratches and chips on the bottom, sides, and the handle of the lid. In addition, the iron hoops are loose and will shift if you apply pressure with your fingers. The body is firmly attached, so it should be fine if handled gently. Due to various issues, it may not be possible to use it for its original purpose, but I hope it can be used for something else.
