They are vintage tableware that has aged over time. While there are no cracks or chips, there are many areas where the gold leaf and lacquer have peeled or thinned, as well as scratches and minor imperfections. There are many scratches and minor imperfections on the inside of the lids. Please enlarge the images to confirm. Also, due to the large number of pieces, it was not possible to capture all scratches and minor imperfections. Please understand. Although the wood is thick, these lacquered wares are very light. The bowls are not circular but oval. The lids fit when the oval directions are aligned, but they are the type that simply rest on top. These are antique items, but they are beautiful lacquered wares with a plump form.
