I am offering a rare antique French wooden doll. I have had her for several years, having acquired her from overseas. This doll is called "Bebe Tout En Bois" and is made entirely of wood. It appears she was shipped from the Sonneberg region of Germany to France. She is a small doll, approximately 25cm tall. She has a platinum blonde mohair wig, sky blue glass eyes, a cute, small vermilion mouth, and a slightly melancholic but adorable expression. The wig, dress, and body are all original. Condition: As she is all wood, there are lines at the corners of her eyes due to the passage of time, some added paint on her nose, paint peeling on the body, and a repair mark on her left ankle. The mint green silk ribbon of the original dress has deteriorated. Please check the images, which I have uploaded in large numbers. m(_ _)m Since she came to my home... I have added modern, handmade cotton black socks and a mint green ribbon to her head to match the ribbon on the dress.
