It is pure and fresh, with a hint of color, and gently adorns the heartbeat that changes with the seasons. This is a "Hitoe" (single-layered) silk Tsumugi visiting kimono that welcomes you and enhances its beauty as you move forward (*^^*) Worn between mid-May and the end of June, and again in September, after the peak of summer, "Hitoe" kimonos are characterized by their light and comfortable feel, as they are made without a lining. They are perfect as a transitional garment when it's too hot to wear a lined kimono, but the thin summer fabrics aren't quite right for the season, or as a lifesaver when you're unsure what to wear due to fluctuating temperatures in the summer. There is some slight soiling on the inside of the cuffs, the upper collar, the upper front panel (thigh area), and the back (about the size of a palm), but let yourself be carried away by the natural time with the autumn leaves, and slowly walk through the seasons... It has a "ishiki-ate" (seat panel) to cover the transparency of the undergarments, prevent sweat and other stains from directly touching the kimono, reduce the stress on the seams and fabric around the hips, and make the back look beautiful. The material is "pure silk," which has a luxurious feel and is gentle on the skin. It fits the body well and is easy to move in, and is "hand-sewn," which is something you'll want to pass down through generations and cherish for a long time... It's also easy to have it remade, which is a great advantage.
