Koala Tamiya Tamtech RC 1/24 Porsche 962C Full Set This is a complete kit including the car body, transmitter, 7.2V battery, and charger. This is a very rare first edition item from Koala Tamiya, released in 1986. The body is not the usual white/clear two-color molded version, but a single clear color. The headlights and windows are molded as a single piece, making it a rare body manufactured with a standard mold, different from the current multi-color molding molds. The multi-color molded version had the drawback of not being able to paint the edges of the headlights, revealing the white base and thick plastic, but the clear single-color body has thinner plastic than the multi-color molded version, and the thickness of the headlight edges is not very noticeable. The motor is a Tamtech Mini Black Motor, and the transmitter band is channel 1. Due to the product being nearly 40 years old, there are stains and yellowing on the body and assembly instructions, and rubber band marks on the bathtub parts. Since it is a completely unopened item, the operation of the transmitter, etc., has not been confirmed. In the unlikely event that it does not work, it will be handled by the manufacturer. The car body package is relatively clean without dents or wrinkles, but the outer package has damage such as scratches, yellowing, stains, and fading, and is worn commensurate with its age. As re-releases are unlikely and it is currently difficult to obtain, how about it for collectors or those who couldn't afford it back then?
