They haven't been used very often, so the Velcro is in good condition, but there are some scratches. - The red decoration on the front of one knee pad is either misaligned or missing. - The rubber on the knee pads is slightly more wrinkled compared to the others. I thought they were big when my child was in kindergarten, so I think they're mainly suitable for elementary school students in the lower grades. They seem to fit a 10-year-old (slim build).
