This backpack pad keeps the space between a child's back and their often-hot school backpack comfortable. This one features a floral pattern with deep purple bias tape. (It looks like dark brown or black in the photos, but it's actually a dark purple.) It's made with a honeycomb-like 3D structure, creating air passages to prevent stickiness, and providing excellent cushioning. This pad is made with two layers of fabric, so it's not flimsy, but durable and fluffy. It's easy to attach with elastic and hooks. It can be attached to backpacks without a bottom rim, and to larger A4-size backpacks. Please check the size in the images before purchasing. My daughter, who started first grade, developed bruises near her back clasp, so I initially made this to increase the cushioning on her back. It has two pockets, and we fold quilt batting and put it in the top pocket to prevent the back clasp from directly contacting her back. My daughter says it doesn't hurt anymore! and she uses the backpack pad every day on her way to school. In the hot season, we put a non-freezing cold pack in the bottom pocket. (The cold pack in the photo is 10cm long x 16cm wide x 1.5cm thick, and weighs 150g. If you would like to include a cold pack, it will be sold for 450 yen.
