This is a silver-plated wine bottle holder I purchased a few years ago from an antique shop in England. Its simple design has made it a useful item in my Scandinavian-style home. I put a cork coaster (bought from a 100-yen shop) inside and use it as a coaster, which is convenient, and it elevates the table setting and the wine. Although there are no markings, it's a popular design from the 1950s onwards. There are some areas of cloudiness on the surface, but I left it as is because I didn't want to over-polish it and damage it. However, it gives it an antique feel, and I didn't mind it at all. Someone with knowledge could probably polish it beautifully. I've included a photo with a bottle (750ml) in it, but the wine is not included in the sale! I'm selling it to declutter, as I haven't been using it recently!
