I bought this about three years ago and attached it to a can badge cover, and I went out with it on my bag once. After that, I stored it in the can's box. It's hard to see, but there's a faint gray spot on the upper right part from the beginning. You can't see it unless you look closely. Also, there's something like rust on the back of the can badge.
