This is a tracker wallet, entirely handmade using Italian leather. The leather used is horse butt from the MARYAM tannery. This leather is made from the highly dense fiber of the horse's butt, tanned with vegetable tannins and painted with pigment, resulting in a brown core leather. The texture is supple, characteristic of horsehide, and the oil from the vachetta process gives it a moderate firmness. As you use it, the pigment will wear off, and you can enjoy the aging process as the leather develops a unique patina.
