This is a remote control for service technicians to access the diagnostic menu of Sharp Aquos BD recorders. Requires 2 AAA batteries (sold separately). The service mode button can be held down for continuous flashing. It will not operate if the recorder's remote control setting is set to anything other than '1'. Red → Aging test, Yellow → BD drive inspection Use your regular AQUOS remote control to move the cursor. To return to the main screen from the aging test, press Red. ※ See the image for the function of each button. ※ Turning off the power after entering service mode will cause a forced shutdown.
