I purchased this new from a toy store and stored it in a cardboard box in a dark room. I opened it for the first time to list it for sale. However, it has not been removed from the backing card. Tanya, the Italian fashion doll, released by Tomy. She's the same 12-inch size as Barbie, with an open mouth and a similar body, so at first glance, she looks like a Barbie knockoff... (^o^;) I'm not sure if they wanted to give her an Italian feel, but the idea of a doll inside a soft-serve ice cream cone is fun! I bought this immediately because of the interesting packaging, but I treasured it so much that it remained in its cardboard box in a dark room for about 20 years. But even now, I still think this packaging is adorable!! (*≧∀≦*) It really gets me excited.
