This is a natsume (tea caddy) with silver maki-e on a t溜塗 (tame-nuri) lacquer base. There are no noticeable scratches. It is generally in good condition. Began apprenticeship as a lacquer maki-e artist in Yamanaka Town in 1973. Became independent as a lacquer maki-e artist at the current location in 1981, and continues to the present. Selected for the Yamanaka Town Lacquerware Craft Exhibition in 1981. Exhibited at the Yamanaka Town Lacquerware Maki-e Artist Exhibition "Irune" in 1983. Selected for the Ishikawa Prefecture Craft Lacquerware Exhibition in 1986.
