This is a set of six "SPODE" demitasse cups. Spode is a historic British brand, established in England in 1770, and is a Royal Warrant holder. I purchased these approximately 30 years ago as an antique item from a Takashimaya sales representative. These are demitasse cups, so they are used for espresso or coffee with a smaller capacity, about half the size of a regular cup.
