Purchased around 2013 from an antique shop in Dali, a World Heritage town in Yunnan Province, China. It has the texture of a funerary object. I believe it's unglazed earthenware. The black heart-shaped item has a hole like a pendant top. It's quite a rare item. It was sold in a small green box, which can also be used as a display stand. The size is approximately 5-6 cm in height, 3-4.5 cm in width, and 1.5 cm in thickness. The box is approximately 15 cm in width, 9.5 cm in height, and 4.5 cm in depth.
