Ajrakh is a traditional Indian fabric, a type of block print, made by the 'Khatri' community in Gujarat, India. They use hand-carved wooden stamps with motifs of Islamic flora, applying them by hand to layer colors and patterns. Because it is hand-printed, the atmosphere may differ from the images or fabrics you have purchased before, due to variations in dye mixing and the way the wooden blocks are pressed. There may be color unevenness, bleeding, weaving flaws, and strong dye odors, but this is the unique texture of handmade products using natural dyes. The fabric thickness may also vary depending on the lot. Color fading may occur, so please wash separately from other laundry. Avoid leaving it wet with light-colored items for a long time.
