It is a traditional Yamanashi Prefecture craft made by applying lacquer to deerskin. I received it as a souvenir and used it for about a year. I didn't use it constantly, but kept it in my desk drawer at work and used it when needed, so there are no noticeable scratches, stains, tears, or zipper problems. The leather color is black, and the pattern is Seigaiha (blue ocean waves). The Seigaiha pattern, with its fan-like shape, symbolizes widening prosperity, and the endlessly flowing waves also represent the prosperity of descendants and eternity, making it an auspicious pattern. The size is approximately 11.3 cm x 7 cm. In addition to the zipper opening, there is a pocket on the side where you can put cards or bills.
