This is a handmade version of the Proco RAT, a classic distortion pedal. The difference from the commercially available version is that it doesn't use a printed circuit board; instead, it uses a universal board with point-to-point wiring of the component leads. This results in a higher-quality pedal with better clarity than the original. Each one is carefully made, comparing it to the real thing. One of the advantages of point-to-point wiring is that it minimizes high-frequency loss when you roll back the guitar's volume. This pedal also shows a significant difference compared to the original, especially when reducing the volume from 10 to 7. Therefore, it's recommended for those who want to control the distortion amount with their guitar's volume knob. The volume increases in the order of silicon < LED < bypass, and the compressed sound decreases in the same order. It's like a combination of the RAT2 and Turbo RAT, but the bypass mode is actually very popular with users. The op-amp is LM308, the same as the original. The enclosure is unpainted. It's a 1590B-style size, similar to MXR pedals.
