This is a Tsugaru-nuri round tray (^^) The side of the box says "Suigetsu Bon" and "Kara-nuri Roage," and the bottom of the box has a label that says "Urushi Coating, Urea Resin." Diameter is approximately 27cm. Purchased about twenty years ago from Murata Kogei in Aomori City. Unused, long-term storage item. There is some dirt on the back of the tray.
