This obi features a design of adorable children with round heads at play. The children's expressions are well-depicted, and the patterns on their kimonos are all different, with delicate gold leaf accents. The base color, according to the Japanese color dictionary on the web, appears to be close to "Kaba-iro" (birch color) or "Akacha" (red-brown). As shown in photos 6 and 7, there appear to be some stains. Photo 7 shows the stains on the Taiko pattern, which will likely be hidden when worn.
