The lid closes by inserting it into the elastic. It closes securely, so it seems it's okay to hang it with the strap out while the lid is closed. It fits perfectly, and I was praised for how well it fits! It's a Cinderella fit (self-praise). It has a plump thickness, and it seems it survived a drop without any scratches. I don't think there are many cases like this. I can mass produce them. Up to four should fit in a Yu-Packet Post Mini. I'm also selling a coin purse with an official seal.
