Used for one trial performance. Disinfected with alcohol. Selling as a set of 8. B♭ clarinet reeds for the mouthpiece that made a splash, from the German manufacturer, W. Wilscher. Model 301, size 3 1/2. Purchased to try, as the design is similar to Vandoren's blue box reeds (purchased at Ishimori Gakki for ¥5,841). They are indeed similar, but the cut is fundamentally different; these are unfiled. I usually use Vandoren blue box 3 1/2, but perhaps due to the unfiled cut, these felt heavier. However, I think they have a good amount of resistance, but are easy to articulate and very flexible. Out of the 10, 2 were softer and seemed usable with my BD4, but the rest were heavier. Perhaps these would be good for those using 5RV mouthpieces? I felt the material was very good! For those tired of the inconsistency of Vandoren reeds, why not give these a try?
