"COVER ALL JK" (Coverall Jacket) is produced based on the design source of the 1940s two-pocket American coverall, often referred to as the "Great War model." However, the distinctive pattern, such as the shoulder area, narrow chest width, and the volume in the back, is created by referencing old French jackets. MAATEE's coverall is, in a sense, a collaboration between America, France, and Japan. While reproducing the details of the era, such as the simple donut buttons and stitching characteristic of the Great War model, it has an elegant atmosphere. Furthermore, the three-dimensional pattern creates a dynamic silhouette when worn. From the 22AW season, the material has been changed from the 13.5oz denim previously used to 12oz denim. This ounce weight, closer to the original models of the time, makes it easier to wear throughout the year. The strong twisting process, which can be called MAATEE's specialty, results in a crisp texture reminiscent of imported brand denim. Additionally, by using brown cotton for the weft of the stitching in each part, it achieves a deep, vintage-like texture. No detail has been overlooked.
