This is an early, wide-body fuzz pedal equipped with germanium transistors. It's from a lesser-known, niche manufacturer, but I think they make some really great pedals. It has a nice, full low-to-mid range, and the high frequencies bite through nicely, giving it a balanced sound for a fuzz. It's also great that it keeps up with bends on the low frets without getting muddy. The guitar's volume knob tracking is excellent. This particular unit has a high gain when the fuzz knob is fully open, but you can roll it back all the way to clean. When rolled back, it produces a nice, sparkly high-end. Unusually for this type of pedal, it sounds great even when using a DC power supply. It shows signs of use, but I've only used it at home since I bought it used, and I've taken good care of it.
