However, the sulfur dyeing method differs between the warp and weft. The warp uses the familiar rope dyeing method for denim. This method involves passing threads, sometimes exceeding 1000 meters, through a dyeing bath. On the other hand, the weft uses cheese dyeing. This method involves rewinding the threads softly and dyeing them in a pot-like kiln. As a result, the warp is dyed throughout the thread with sulfur, but the fading is more intense than the weft. Even at the OW stage, the warp on the uneven parts is starting to fade, creating a unique look. Ultimately, this fabric will fade considerably, so please be prepared when ordering."
