Archers of Loaf, the indie rock conscience alongside Superchunk from Chapel Hill, their hometown. This is a side project by their frontman, Eric Bachmann. A truly wonderful band that consistently produces superb songs with gravelly, hard-boiled vocals and silver-toned melodies. All are masterpieces. This work is their 3rd, from '03. "Big Darkness" has a cool, Archers of Loaf-esque phrase, and "Disappear" is a gentle ballad that makes you cry. *Good condition. Playback check on a CD player has not been performed.
