The following are the conditions since I purchased it used: ・Neck has been repaired from a break. ・Pegs and all plastic parts have been replaced. ・Paint is chipped around the pickups, and there are many dents and chips. ・Both pickups have been replaced. The rear pickup is a Dimarzio DP159. It seems to be a Steve Vai model and is suitable for playing distorted leads. The front pickup is made by a manufacturer called G&B, and the details such as the model number are unknown. I was planning to replace it after purchasing it used, but when I played it, the clean tone was very good and suited jazz well, so I used it as is. After purchase, the jack had a lot of scratchiness, so I replaced it with a Switch Craft one. I cannot accurately assess the neck and frets, so I will quote two points from the store's description when I purchased it used about six months ago: • The neck is almost straight and the truss rod has room to spare. • Frets are about 50% remaining. The nut width is 42mm, and the string height is between 1.5-2mm for both the 1st and 6th strings. There is no buzzing. The rear tone control knob has come off and is missing. There is a slight scratchiness in the front volume knob. Although Gibsons are expensive these days, since it has already been heavily modified, you can feel free to do the same. It is a model with thin paint and no overcoat of poly, so I think it will develop more character the more you use it. I have other equipment I want more, so I am selling it to raise funds.
