This is an "Old Mine" stone, one of the most valuable and rare Duan inkstones. This inkstone was made from a raw stone. Gently rub a solid ink stick on the smooth surface of the inkstone. The resulting ink has excellent ink emission and a soft feel on the brush. 11.3cm x 10.0cm, Thickness 1.7cm, Weight 430g.
