Reason for being junk: Scratches and clouding on the front element, filter ring damage, rubber whitening, logo faded and peeling. Operation is not a problem! AF is normal, aperture is normal, zoom has no issues, and I didn't feel the scratches or clouding on the lens affected the photos. Because the filter ring is damaged, I was using it with a filter held in place with masking tape. I will include a CPL filter! I loved using this standard zoom lens with a constant aperture of 2.8, and its specs are comparable to the Canon EF 2.8 24-70. I am selling it because I am switching to a mirrorless camera.
