This is a wooden tray from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Fukuoka, dedicated to the god of learning, for the traditional "O-kuizome" (first meal) ceremony. There are two sets available. The wood grain and color vary slightly from piece to piece. One has faint marks from plates that were stacked on it (see photo 4). It will be shipped in its original box, which has some wear. This was received at the time of a baby's Hatsumiyamairi (first shrine visit). The dishes were used once, but only the tray was unused, so I am offering the tray only to someone who can use it. Dishes are not included. Although unused, it has been stored at home in the box with used dishes, so please understand. A letter banner is also available.
