I purchased this used and have been using it for about two years. The head was just replaced last week. I'm using a Fiberskyn head. I cleaned the lugs and hoops, but some rust remains. The strainer works without any problems. There is some distortion in a part of the hoop in the fifth photo, but it doesn't affect the sound.
