This is a handmade vest created from an unused, genuine silk (正絹) fukuro obi (袋帯). The obi features a shiny silver foil design and adorable Suzhou embroidery of treasures (宝尽くし) on the back. The obi fabric is stiff, making it difficult to sew, and there are some imperfections. It has a lining and is made of a firm fabric.
